Obituary

William Mose Jr., 74, passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at his home in Conway, South Carolina.

Mr. Mose was born December 29, 1946 in New Brunswick, New Jersey to the late William and Mary Mose. William was raised in Manhattan. He relocated to Middlesex and Piscataway, before settling in South Carolina for the past three years.

William honorably served in the US Army during the Vietnam conflict from 1968 to 1974, having earned the rank as Specialist. He was awarded the Bronze Star Metal, Commendation Metal and the Meritorious Unit Commendation recognizing his heroic service for the country. William was an avid professional bowler.

He is survived by his loving spouse of 50 years, Jane Mose; his sister, Paula Kaltsas of Long Island, six nieces and nephews and numerous cousins.

Family and friends may visit on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Gleason Funeral Home, 1360 Hamilton Street, Somerset, NJ 08873.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 10:30 A.M. at St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Piscataway. Burial and committal service will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway.
