Obituary for Steve Tsiadis

Stylianos “Steve” Tsiadis, 63 of South Plainfield New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home with his wife by his side on November 14, 2022.

Born in Holargos, Athens Greece, to the late Eleftherios and Irene, and predeceased by brother Nikos.

Steve was a proud Hellene and American. He loved to share his extensive knowledge of Greek Military History, Mythology as well as Geography, American History and was a wiz at recognizing flags of all countries. He liked to read, write, listen to Greek music, and watch the Philadelphia Eagles.

Steve came to America in the late 70’s and studied journalism at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. He worked for many years in the hospitality field and Edison Township.

In 1982 he attended his first AHEPA District Convention in Jersey City, NJ where he met the love of his life, his Bouboukey Evellyn and together they enjoyed life to the fullest.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Evellyn Leontarakis Tsiadis, his ever-loving Mother-In-Law Irene and Father-In-Law Gus Leontarakis, his loving Sisters- In-Laws Patricia and Georgia, the best Brother-In-Law John Papanastasiou, his cherished and beautiful Nephews, Nieces the best Koumbare and Godchildren. He loved being Theo Steve and Nouno!!

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Saint George Greek orthodox church in Piscataway, New Jersey or the AHEPA Fifth District Cancer Research Foundation.

Viewing and Funeral services will be held at Saint George Greek orthodox church in Piscataway, New Jersey on Friday, November 18, 2022. Viewing 10:00 am, funeral immediately following. Interment will follow in Bound Brook Cemetery, Bound Brook, NJ
