Dearest Roe ...(Rosemarie)I’m still in disbelief that you are no longer with us in the flesh... I’m so saddened by your passing and my prayers and condolences to your family and friends.I wish I had a crystal ball to know our last conversation on Oct 9th would have been the last.Rosemarie and I worked at World Airways, later we both worked at American Express Travel. Those were the good days ,,, lots of Travel and enjoying the perks of the industry. I lost touch with Rosemarie around 2001 ,and recently reconnected in 2019. Our friendship picked up as though it were yesterday. We were privileged to go on what would be our last Travel Adventure this year to the Caribbean Feb 2020.
We had such a great time, we were all planning on taking another trip in 2021.Oct 9th was the last day I heard Roe’s voice as we were vigorously discussing our next destination for 2021. I would have kept the dialogue going if I knew it were to be the last time I would hear her voice or that rippling laughter of hers. She always spoke lovingly of her Mother and majority of time I spoke to her, she was at her Mums and would discuss what they were having for dinner , the TV shows her Mum would be watching.. I would wait patiently listening to her entire routine. No need to interrupt , as Roe made sure you heard the entire schedule. Roe loved her family, her cats, camping, sports, her friends l’m going to miss my Dear friend Roe. Forever in my heart.

Rosemarie and Family, I am simply at a loss for words. I worked with Rosemarie starting at World Airways and American Express Travel. Rose and I have travelled to several interesting places together. She was full of life, vibrant and most of all chatty. She was a very kind person, often speaking about her Family, her lodge friends, sports and of course her cats. She truly loved life and did her best to get the most out of it. We were planning another trip together. Who would have thought you would be gone too soon. I will miss you and the smallest of things will keep you in my memory. I am wishing your family and friends strength and peace during this time.

Dear Rosemarie & Gessner Family- I can’t believe I am writing about your sudden passing. We are all in shock.
We grew up together on Wheeler Place. We went to St. Ladislaus, St.Matthias & IHS. Rode the school bus; played kick ball & went trick or treating together. We would see Rosemarie at Christmas because she and my sister Lori always exchanged gifts. Sending our deepest sympathies to her mom, brothers, family and friends. May cherished memories bring you comfort in your sorrow.

Rosemarie was my downstairs neighbor and she was the best neighbor. We looked out for each others packages and talked quit often. I will miss her terribly. I cannot attend viewing as I am compromised but Rosemarie and her family will be in my prayers.
Sincerely,
Irene McGee
