Patricia Lee “Patti” Schneider

Somerset

Patricia Schneider passed away on Monday afternoon at her home in Somerset. She was 59 years old.

Mrs. Schneider was born in Dover, NJ and was raised in North Brunswick. She was a graduate of North Brunswick High School. She has resided in Somerset since 1992 and was a part-time resident of Wildwood Crest.

Mrs. Schneider had a lengthy career in the automobile industry and retired as a Controller for Galaxy Toyota in Eatontown. She was a terrific cook and loved to host gatherings at her home. Mrs. Schneider also loved gardening and her dogs Gretchen and Henrik.

She is survived by her husband Robert of Somerset,her parents James and Patricia Laposa, a son David and his wife Tara of South Brunswick, a sister Lisa Scharf and her husband Henry of Cranbury, brother Jay Laposa and his wife Tara of North Brunswick, her grandchildren Kali Lynn Southard and Abigail Louise Pollard and nieces and nephews Joseph, Jenna, Alex, Aaron, Alyce and Cole.

Visiting will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Friday at the Gleason Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Saturday at the funeral home followed by committal services at Cloverleaf Memorial Park in Woodbridge. Contributions in Mrs. Schneiders name may be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital at www.Stjude.org or to Stein Hospice at https://www.wilfcampus.org/online-donation/

I am so sad to hear of the passing of Patti, She was my boss at Honda Universe. I enjoyed working with her and will miss those times. She will finally Rest In Peace now from what she had to go through.

Loved working with her, she always cared about you then the business. I enjoyed her humor and seeing her everyday at Galaxy Toyota , then looked forward to seeing her at Honda Universe . Dear Patti, we were deeply saddened by the news yesterday. No one could ask you to fight any harder than you did for the past year and a half. There will be many memories that will allow us to celebrate you and will forever be missed, as we know you watch over all of us.
