Obituary for Gasper Scrudato

Mr Gasper Scrudato, age 82, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 in his home.

Mr. Scrudato was born in the Bronx where he lived for many years. He moved to Somerset, NJ twenty six years ago.

He is survived by his wife of twenty-four years, Carol Orban-Scrudato.
He is also survived by his children, Matthew Scrudato and his wife Tina in California and Sabina Trager and her husband Bob of Long Island. His step children Robert Lane and wife Lisa, Karen Lane of Somerset and Scott Lane of Wilmington, NC. Also, his grandchildren, Ty, Ethan,Skyler, Spencer and Sarah.

He served our country faithfully in the United States Navy, aboard the Shangri La in the Mediterranean Sea.

He had a lengthy career in the computer science field. He worked for CBS Television then changed jobs and retired from Pershing in Florham Park in 2002 after nearly twenty years of service with the company.

He enjoyed playing golf and traveling with his wife, Carol. Together they enjoyed trips to Hawaii, Las Vegas, Disney World and Canada. He was a member of the Franklin Township Senior Citizens Club and went on many trips with them along with his wife Carol.

Visiting will take place on Friday, May 13, 2022, at the Gleason Funeral Home from 10-11:30 and a funeral service will begin promptly at 11:30. Committal services will follow at Franklin Memorial Park Mausoleum.
