I am so sad to learn of the death of my life -long friend , Courtney Phillips. From the Westminster Road days , when the two families lived " on thethe same block " to our relocations to the USA, , the New York / New Jersy area , we remained close. You could always count on Courtney for his characteristic sardonic and penetrating view of all things, especially the politics of this nation. And we enjoyed many long talks in that arena , with him being he lead. He was a fixture at most of our family events especially those involving my mother as both mothers had been good friends in their yourth. And we were always glad to treck to New Brunsic k fo rteh family and friends reunion cook outs that e hosted in New Brunswick. He has travelled the long roadand winding road and he has exited our daily life , but not our memories. May he rest in peace and may his legacy stay alive. My deepest condolences to his children, siblings and companion family and friends. Marcia V Keizs

I too am saddened on learning of the passing of Courtney, a very decent man whom I had the good fortune to count as friend for more than sixty years. I especially remember with fondness our "Westminster Road" days, 1960's; the Phillip's home being the H.Q. for much neighborhood activity. Courtney had a "good at bat". May his soul rest in peace and light perpetually shine on him. To the entire "Phillips Clan" and host of friends I offer condolences. Comfort yourselves in the memory of all the wonderful times you shared. Dale Keizs
