Obituary

Beatrice "Miss B” Hunt, 70, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at Regency Heritage Rehabilitation Center in Somerset, New Jersey.

Miss B was born July 23, 1949 in Barbados. In 1952, at the age of three, she immigrated to the US and settled in Manhattan. While residing in Manhattan she had her son, Tyrone in 1967 and in 1968 she had her daughter Felicia. In 1990, she relocated to the Bronx, before settling in Atlantic City, where she has resided for over 15 years.

Miss B was a faithful member of the New Hope Church in Atlantic City. She loved Atlantic City, especially trying her luck at various casinos. Miss B loved music, particularly Al Green, Barry White and Teddy Pendergrass. Miss B personality was like no other, when she walked into a room her presence was touched by everyone. Above all, she was a devoted mother, grandmother, aunt, great aunt and great grandmother.

Ms. Hunt was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Felicia Hunt and her brother, George Gall.

She is survived by her son, Tyrone Hunt; her sister, Christine Gall; her grandchildren, Dabney Hunt and Monet Hunt. She is also survived by her three great grandchildren, Elijah, Emmanuel and Aniya; her nieces, Tanika Moore and Raynell Gall and a host of great nieces and Nephews and many friends.

Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 1st, 2020 at New Hope Church, 704 Lexington Avenue, Atlantic City, NJ. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 A.M. at New Hope Church.

Burial and committal service will be on Monday, August 3rd at 10:00 A.M. at Franklin Memorial Park Cemetery in North Brunswick.
