Ann Louise DeBonis passed away on Sunday June 19, 2022, at Community Medical Center in Toms River, surrounded by her loving family. She was 61 years old. Ann was born in New Brunswick and lived there as a child. She also resided in Milltown for many years before moving to Toms River in 1997.

Ms. DeBonis graduated from St. Peter’s high School in New Brunswick and attended the duCRET School of the Arts. She was an active member of the Sacred Heart CYO and cherished the special friendships and memories made. She was a devoted and loving aunt who cherished the time spent with her nieces and nephews. She was always front and center, cheering them on in all their endeavors. Ann was a member of the Seaside Heights Italian American Club. She was raised in St. Mary of Mount Virgin Parish in New Brunswick and was currently a parishioner at St. Justin the Martyr R.C. Church in Toms River. She enjoyed all aspects of art and had many close life-long friendships that meant the world to her.

Ann was predeceased by her father, Joseph DeBonis in 2008. Her maternal grandparents Michael and Louise Sica and her uncle Michael Sica.

Ann is survived by her mother, Geraldine DeBonis of Toms River, her brother Joseph DeBonis of Toms River, her sister Gerry Connors and her husband Robert of Toms River, brother Michael DeBonis and his wife Alicia also of Toms River. Her nieces Samantha, Ashley, Nicole, Elizabeth, Sofia and nephews Robbie, Mike, Joey, Nicholas, and Anthony. She is also survived by her aunt Terry Sica and cousins Mickey Sica, Michele and Tom Selesky, their children Julianna and Tommy.

Visiting will be held from 3-7 PM on Friday June 24, 2022. Services will begin on Saturday June 25, 2022, at 9:15 AM at Gleason Funeral Home followed by a 10 AM funeral mass at St. Mary of Mount Virgin Church in New Brunswick. Committal services will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery in New Brunswick. Please consider a contribution in Ms. DeBonis’ name to St. Jude’s Childlren’s Hospital
